All Star Tutoring is an in-home tutoring company
specializing in one-on-one instruction for students
grades K through college. We tutor all academic
subjects: Math (all levels), English (writing,
reading, spelling), Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth
Science, History, Foreign Languages, Music, Computers,
ACT/SAT Prep, College Prep, Special Needs,
ADHC/ADD/Dyslexia/ Dyscalculia, and More. We service
Los Angeles, Glendale, Burbank, North Hollywood,
Studio City, Toluca Lake, La Crescenta, La Canada,
Pasadena, San Marino, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills,
Calabasas, Westlake Village, and more areas...

JOB DESCRIPTION:
All tutoring takes place in a one-on-one
environment. Sessions occur at the student’s home or
at a preferred location such as a public library.

This is a part time position and we work around 
tutor’s schedule. Tutors work anywhere from 2-20 hours
a week.

The amount of hours tutors work per week depends on
their schedule, what subjects they can tutor, and the
amount of hours they prefer.

All tutors are independent contractors. Tutors help
students to organize their work and improve
overall study sills, time management, and test taking
strategies. Tutors use the same curriculum that the
child is using at their school, and augment those
materials with targeted exercises and activities based
on the child’s specific
needs.

Tutoring hours generally take place Monday through
Thursday, between the hours of 3pm-9pm. Hours vary on
weekends.
